Participation Rules

Eligibility:

• Any Provo City Library cardholder in good standing ages 12 and older may participate.
  
  
  • Teens must turn 12 by July 31, 2012.

Registration:

• Register for the program from June 2 - June 30, 2012.

Review Forms/Entries:

• A drawing will be held each week through June and July. To enter the weekly drawings, fill out and submit a book review for each book read (or listened to) between June 2nd and July 28th.
  
  
  • Each review submitted gives you one entry into one of the weekly drawings. There is no limit to the number of book reviews submitted but only one review can be submitted for each title.
    
    
  • Book reviews may also be submitted online using Provo City Library's patron review system within our online catalog.

  • After submitting 3 book reviews, participants will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing and can pick up a free book bag (600 available) at the 1st Floor Reference Desk.
    
    
• Book Review requirements:
  
  
  • Books must be 100 pages or longer. Books do not need to be checked out from Provo City Library.
    
    
  • All portions of print and online reviews must be completed (with proper grammar) and must be submitted with a minimum of three sentences.
    
    
  • The library reserves the right to reject book reviews not complying with all the rules.
    
    
• Book reviews must be submitted before Friday at 9:00 pm each week to be entered into the weekly drawing.
  
  
  • The last day to turn in book reviews is Saturday, July 28th by 6:00 pm.

Prize Drawings:

• Weekly prize drawings will be held at 9:00 am every Monday morning between June 11th and July 30th (8 weekly drawings).
  
  
  • Separate drawings will be held for teens and adults.
    
    
  • Patrons must have a Provo City Library card in good standing to win.
    
    
  • Participants can only win one prize each week.
    
    
  • Winners will be notified by phone or email.
    
    
  • A picture ID will be required to claim prizes.
    
    
  • Prizes can be claimed up to 3 weeks from the day of the drawing.
    
    
• The Grand Prize Drawing will be held on Monday, July 30th at 7:00 pm in the Library Ballroom.
  
  
  • Each individual who turns in 3 book reviews by 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 28th will get one entry into the grand prize drawing.
    
    
  • Participants do not need to be present to win a grand prize, but must be in attendance to win any door prizes.
    
    
• Staff and their immediate family are ineligible for any prize drawing.
