Story Time & Toddler Time

TODDLER TIME

Who: For two year olds accompanied by their parent or caregiver. The whole family is welcome!

What: Literacy based stories, songs, fingerplays, and puppet shows with varying themes for 20 minute sessions. Children receive a letter and coloring sheet to take home.

When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 - 10:25 am and 11:05 - 11:25 am.

Where: The Storytelling Circle in the Children's Department, first floor of the Provo City Library.

Mr. Dallin and Ms. Laurel are our Toddler Time storytellers.

 MOTHER GOOSE

Who: For babies 13-24 months and their parents/caregivers.

What: Age appropriate songs and finger plays for babies and their parents/caregivers.

When: Every Friday from 11 - 11:20 am and 11:30 - 11:50 am.

Where: The StoryTelling Circle in the Children's Department on the first floor of the Provo City Library.

Ms. Rebecca and Ms. Heather
are storytellers for the 3 to 5 year olds.

STORY TIME

Who: For children 3 - 5 years old who are ready to be separated from their parents or caregivers.

What: Literacy based stories, songs, fingerplays, and puppet shows based on varying themes for 30 minute sessions. Children receive a letter and coloring sheet to take home.

When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 - 10:30 am and 11 - 11:30 am. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to register your child with a nametag. No latecomers will be admitted after the doors have been closed exactly at 10 am and 11 am. If you are late or if your child experiences "separation anxiety," you are invited to attend Toddler Time.

Where: The Children's Program Room, #117, in the Children's Department on the first floor of the Provo City Library.

BOOK BABIES

Who: babies 0 - 12 months and their parents/caregivers.

What: Age appropriate stories, songs, and finger plays for 20 minute sessions.

When: Every Friday from 10:00 - 10:25 am.

Where: In the Storytelling Circle in the Children's Department on the first floor of the Provo City Library.

Spanish Storytime/Cuentos en Español:

Who: For families--all ages are welcome.

What: Stories, songs, and activities in Spanish for families.

When: Every Monday evening, starting in September, from 7 - 7:30 pm (the Storytelling Circle). Also every Friday morning at 10:30 am (Children's Programming Room, #117).

Where: Monday storytelling will be held in the Storytelling Circle; Friday storytelling will be held in the Children's Programming Room, room #117. Both areas are located in the Children's Department on the first floor of the Provo City Library.
