Friends of the Provo City Library
With the help of Friends, the Provo City Library can be a home for "information, instruction, learning, leisure, and cultural opportunities" for generations to come.
The mission of the Friends of the Provo City Library organization is three-fold: to raise funds for the Library's programming and materials, to develop political support for the Library, and to increase the community's awareness and advocacy of the Library.
Thanks to the community's support, the Friends organization has made great strides; however, help is still needed to meet the increasing demand for the Library's services. They need talented, willing volunteers like you to become Friends of the Provo City Library.
Become a Friend
You need not be a Provo resident or even hold a Provo City Library card to become a Friend to the Library. A one-year membership is $10, and the Friends Application can be returned to the Circulation Desk in the Library's Rogers Wing. Applications can also be mailed to the Provo City Library directly, to the attention of the Friends of the Provo City Library.
Quarterly Book Sales
The Friends organization raises funds for the Provo City Library through quarterly book sales held in the Library's West Underground Parking Entrance. Books and media are a dollar or less, and all proceeds go to supporting Library programming and functions.
Book sales to the general public are conducted from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, with a presale hour from 9:00 am - 10:00 am for registered members of the Friends organization. Interested patrons may sign up to be a Friend of the Provo Library at the door for $10.

Friends of the Provo City Library

Venta trimestral de libros
