Family Literacy Symposium

The Family Literacy Symposium is a the Provo City Library's yearly celebration of reading for adults. This year we welcomed Jamie Ford, author of Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet and Songs of Willow Frost

In these breakout sessions, Provo City Library staff will highlight the best books from 2013 for children, young adults, and adults.

Tickets are limited and will be available for purchase beginning December 28 at the adult reference desk. Each ticket includes a signed copy of Jamie Ford’s latest book, Songs of Willow Frost. 

The Family Literacy Symposium is an annual event aimed at helping parents, educators, and community members develop additional tools to encourage and generate literacy in the home and classroom.  Keynote sessions and workshops are presented by literacy experts of local and national renown, including nationally best-selling authors, professors of education and literature from local universities, and staff at the Provo City Library.
