Bree Despain is the author of the Dark Divine trilogy and the upcoming Into The Dark trilogy. Bree rediscovered her childhood love for creating stories when she took a semester off college to write and direct plays for at-risk, inner-city teens from Philadelphia and New York. She currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband, two young sons, and her beloved TiVo.
J.R. Johansson is the author of Insomnia, a Young Adult Supernatural Psychological Thriller. When she’s not writing, she loves reading, playing board games, and sitting in her hot tub. Her dream is that someday she’ll find a way to do all three at the same time. She lives with her husband, two sons, and cat, Cleo, in a valley between majestic mountains and a beautiful lake where the sun shines nearly 300 days per year.
Elana Johnson is the author of the Possession series. Elana wishes she could experience her first kiss again, tell the mean girl where to shove it, and have cool superpowers like reading minds and controlling fire. To fulfill her desires, she writes young adult science fiction and fantasy. She lives with her husband and two kids in central Utah, using her boring human powers as the technology specialist in an elementary school.
Kasie West is the author of Pivot Point and the upcoming The Distance Between Us. She is the mother of four--three daughters and one son; she lives in Central California where the summers try to kill her with their 115-degree stretches.
Natalie Whipple is the author of Transparent and the upcoming House of Ivy & Sorrow. Sadly, she does not have any cool mutations like her characters. Unless you count the ability to watch anime and Korean dramas for hours on end. Or her uncanny knack for sushi consumption. Natalie lives in Utah with her husband and three kids, and keeps the local Asian market in business with all her attempts to cook Thai curry, Pho, and “real” ramen.
